PREMIUM NORTH AMERICAN MAPLE SHELLS

We hand-select M5 and M7 North American maple plies to ensure every kit delivers the balanced, articulate tone SJC is known for. With nearly two decades of custom-drum experience behind them, our builders craft these shells to give you the projection, warmth, and punch that today’s drummers demand.

HAND-CUT 45° BEARING EDGES

Every Tour Series shell features hand-cut 45° bearing edges, shaped to maximize resonance, sustain, and tuning stability. This precision allows your heads to seat beautifully and your drums to open up with full tonal character—whether you’re in the studio or on stage.

BUILT FOR THE ROAD

Tour Series shells are outfitted with low-mass hardware, triple-flanged hoops, and our iconic die-cast Shield Lugs.
